My brother Chad married his beautiful bride Sarah this past weekend. It was the most beautiful wedding. Not only am I happy for my brother to have married such a GREAT girl but I'm happy for myself. I gained a GREAT new sister! Sarah is so wonderful and I am so happy she is "officially" part of our family. She fits in perfect, has great taste and is perfect for Chad. Congrats to the Mr. & Mrs.!
The excitement of weddings is always so fun. I was kind of sad today because it's all over. I wore my jewelry from the wedding today to work to keep "living" the wedding memories. I know, I'm weird. I think I've looked at the pictures I took throughout the weekend about 100 times!
There was a lot of "beautifying" for the wedding. Last week, I got lowlights in my hair, got a haircut, got my eyebrows waxed, and did a little tanning. On Thursday I made a quick appointment to the Orthodontist to change my pink bands on my braces to clear. On Friday, I got a manicure and a pedicure. Saturday morning I got my hair done for the wedding. Whew, and I wasn't the bride! Being a bridesmaid is a great excuse to pamper yourself!
What wedding can I look forward to next?
