EASTER

Aubrey looked ever so adorable in her spring dress on Easter. Her favorite thing the Easter Bunny brought her was her new pink princess cell phone. She just loves it and has been carrying it around the house since she got it. And somehow, she knows how to hold it up to her ear. How would she know how to do that with a flip phone? I think she is smarter than we think.

We had a little bit of a rough week last week. We took Aubrey to the doctor to then find out she had a high fever, double ear infection (her first) and pink eye in both eyes…PLUS she is teething. Yikes. Poor girl. Other than the teething (1 year molars – ouch) still bugging her, she seems to be back on the healthy side. Then poor Joe caught pink eye on Saturday night so he stayed home all day on Easter by himself. We sure missed him on Easter.

Anna is really in love with her cousin Aubrey… saying her name over and over again and giving her lots of hugs. Owen likes to ask Anna to say certain words and she was saying all of them for him. It was really cute. Then Owen goes up to Aubrey and asks, “Aubrey, can you say golf?” Um, no Owen she can’t say golf yet, I told him.

Starting this week, Aubrey is really into pointing. She points to all kinds of things around the house and then babbles something really cute. Hmmm, wonder what she is saying....

Another Stang baby was born last week. Congrats to our niece Sarah and hubby Rob on their new baby boy! It seems so long ago that we had a newborn in our house... time flies :-)
