36 Weeks

Dear Baby,

I am so ready for you! I would be very okay if you would like to enter this world early :) Your big sister is anxiously waiting for you. She thinks you are a boy and really wants to name you Jesus (again). I'm not sure how to tell her that name didn't make the name list.


I had a doctor's appt last week and all is good. Blood pressure good. Weight good. Head is still down. Heartbeat was fast. My doctor is now on vaca for 2 weeks so I go back in on the 17th, then we'll find out if I'm dilated yet (wishful thinking). I've been so crampy lately, even wakes me at night. I forgot how hard the last month of pregnancy is. I have Braxton Hicks everyday... can't walk too far and my stomach gets so tight. All signs it's getting close to meeting our little miracle! Doctor told me it's even more common to have Braxton Hicks with the 2nd baby.


We took some pictures recently to remember this special time right before the baby comes:

Aubrey loves (ok, obsessed) to kiss my belly. I often need to "kindly" remind her that she can only kiss mommy's bare belly at home and that church, the grocery store or anywhere public is not appropriate :-) Thankfully, she usually listens to my explanation.
