Life with Two

Little sis, Big sis

Life with two is:

Busy
Rewarding
Exhausting
Precious
Crazy
Never dull

... and worth every second!

Things are going good and I'm enjoying my time at home. Aubrey really likes the extra time with mommy too. We've been doing lots of arts & crafts, she's really into art stuff (I love it!). Lately she likes to draw circles, squares, doors, hearts, the letter J (for Joe & Janet she says), and snakes. We still have to remind her daily to be gentle with baby Clara. She likes to squish her cheeks and make funny faces. Poor Clara. I apologize to Clara and tell her that's just what happens when you have a big sister! Aubrey asks to hold her sister about 10 times a day. About 2 out of 10 times I actually say yes... I usually have to give the answer that she's either sleeping, crying, hungry, or has a poopy diaper.

Clara is doing well and I really can't complain (ok, other than being sleep deprived but that's expected). Can't wait for the day to get 7 or 8 hours of sleep again! She is starting to smile a lot and coo.
