I had my 16-week doctor's appointment on Friday. Joe and I heard the heart beat for the first time. We heard it right away....it was so cool. The heart rate was 163.
So far I've gained 8 lbs...doctor says I'm right on track. Well, what he said is I could eat like a horse and I'd still be skinny.....funny, I don't feel so skinny these days :) That's probably the only time I'll blog about my weight gain....ha!
The doc said since this is my first pregnancy I probably won't "feel" the baby until closer to 20 weeks. He said with my 2nd baby I would hear it 3 weeks earlier. I'm SO EXCITED for when I first feel it....I can't wait for that experience.
I wore maternity pants for the first time this weekend and there is NO TURNING BACK! WOW, WHAT COMFORT! Joe said he wants a pair for Thanksgiving.......I said no.
Next doctor's appt: 20-week ultrasound (can't wait!), October 9th
