24 Weeks

We had our 24-week doctor's appointment this afternoon. I think we're having a boy even more now. The doctor doesn't know what it is but he agreed with my guess. The heartrate was 130 and he just thought I was carrying low (although he totally admits he was guessing). Plus the whole thing with our baby having big feet still makes me think it's a boy! Joey Jr I think it is!

My next appointment (28 week) is on December 7th and that's when I do the glucose testing and I'm going to have my (5th) ultrasound too. I'm really starting to feel at home at CentraCare :)

My doctor was running an HOUR behind...thank goodness Joe was there to keep me company. We were actually lucky to see him as he was out the last 2 weeks with the chicken pox. I know, crazy, you would think a doctor would have had the chicken pox by now. I asked him, "did you get in a car accident?" I felt kinda silly after he told us it was chicken pox but he did look a little rough.

We got a white dresser for the baby room today.....or should I say Michelle & Mom picked it up for us. They picked it up in the cities and saved us $50 in shipping. Thank you! One more thing I check off the list!

I'm starting to feel the baby move more and more. It's such a weird feeling. It's so amazing....a human life is actually growing inside of me. When I'm in a meeting at work and I can feel the baby move, it's hard to concentrate on anything else! I'm just so excited to meet him, er, I mean him or her.

Oh, they said my due date is February 29th. In my own book, I'm still saying March 1st. For one, it's a lot easier to say March 1st AND I really don't want to have a leap year baby!
