Big girl sitting in a big chair
.We had Aubrey's 18-Month pictures taken last weekend. She did pretty good. As long as there aren't too many tears, I consider it a success!

I was lucky enough to get a picture of Aubrey in this dress. She refused to wear it... so we settled for the pink dress last minute. We got her to wear it for a few shots at the end. As soon as we were done, she was tugging on it and saying: "off!".
Aubrey also had her 18-Month appt this week. The appt took ridiculously looong... they were running way behind and then they "forgot" about us while we were waiting for them to give Aubrey her shots. We were there an hour & a half. It was hard to keep an 18-month old occupied that long! The doctor did come in and apologize for it after, so I guess it's okay :)
Stats:
Height: 31" - 27%
Weight: 22 lbs 9 oz - 23%
Aubrey continues to be in the 20th percentile and the doc is always surprised how "even" her stats always are. I like to think of her as a "perfect peanut."
I think since Aubrey's turned 18-month old it's been the next big phase in her life. She's talking more, becoming more independent, many more temper tantrums, imitates everything & likes to do little tasks when asked.
When you ask her a question, she will answer you in one of the following ways:
1. Noooooo (a long soft No)
2. An exaggerated head nod (for yes)
3. Uh huh (which is so cute)
She is starting to say little phrases such as, what dat or where's da da (she asks me this almost every morning). The newest word is Zebra, pronounced "Beeba". I also catch her saying "ummm" while she is thinking about something like which sippy cup to pick.
Just a couple random pics:
