Cookie-kind-of-Christmas

Aubrey got the whole Santa thing this year. When I tucked her in on Christmas Eve, I was telling her how Santa was coming that night and was bringing her presents. When I went in her room Christmas morning, she looks at me and the first thing she says is, “Santa” I couldn’t believe she remembered.
.
The Stang Xmas was extra special this year because The SCTimes came out & took pictures and then featured the Stang Family on the front page of the SCTimes Christmas Paper. Check it out if you haven’t. They focused on the large family size & pageant that there is every year. Hopefully Aubrey will participate in the pageant next year.
.
We couldn’t believe it. Aubrey actually sat on Santa’s lap at the Stang Xmas. I thought for sure she would cry or just not go. I suppose having a cooking helps. I don’t even want to know how many cookies she had over the Christmas season.
.
Christmas is so much more special, fun and memorable with a child to spend it with. And I am so grateful to have Aubrey in my life to make it so special, fun and memorable.
